Band Hero

Developed by Activision—the makers of Guitar Hero—Band Hero is a music-filled game perfect for the whole family. A compilation of over 65 songs of various styles to satisfy every taste and a wide range of modes will allow you to take on tough challenges or have a good time with some music and your family and friends.

Band Hero is a very simple game: singers just have to belt it out when the lyrics appear on the screen, while color-coded markers for bassists, guitarists, and drummers (which hopefully match the colors of the controller buttons) will appear on screen so you know which button to press and when. All you need is a sense of rhythm and the desire to give it a try... and before you know it, you'll be nodding your head to the music and contributing your part to the band's overall sound. Since each player can set their own difficulty level, there is no obstacle to newcomers joining a group where some members are a little (or a lot) more seasoned and hitting the stage together.

The final composition of the band is up to you. You can play solo, form a classic band with a singer, drummer, guitarist, and bassist, or mix it all up to have multiple musicians playing the same instrument at once. There is even a karaoke mode that lets you forget about the instruments and have up to four people belt out some classics without worrying about the score they'll get.
