The interactive Wii controls will allow us to bring our characters' movements to life when throwing the hammer by swinging the Wii Remote, drawing the bowstring with the Nunchuk before releasing the arrow, and recreating all swimming strokes. Players must also find the secret moves that will allow them to scrape that extra little advantage that can mean the difference between Gold and defeat.
The user can choose between four different play styles, depending on the character they select: All-Around (like Mario and Amy), Technical (Peach and Tails), Speed (Sonic and Yoshi), or Power (such as Knuckles and Bowser)
Events can be played in single-player and multiplayer modes. A Circuit Mode has also been included, where users can create their own competition - by choosing a circuit of events, selecting one of the existing circuits, or generating one randomly.
Those who want to truly put their skills to the test can choose the single-player Mission Mode and overcome the toughest challenges. In addition, users will be able to learn about the history of the Olympic Games through fun mini-games and unlockable material that will be stored in the Gallery.
