Description
Single-player features
- Strike Force levels: Strike Force levels, a first for the Call of Duty franchise, bring sandbox-style gameplay mechanics to the narrative experience, allowing players to take command of all available assets, such as other squad members or drones and robots deployed on the battlefield. Players can also zoom out of the action with Support mode and dedicate themselves to marking target points and issuing orders to the squad. Another first for the franchise is the concept of failure: if you fail a mission, players will not return to a checkpoint; instead, the mission will be failed and the story will continue. If a player fails all their missions, the geopolitical fiction at the end of their narrative arc will be different than that of a player who succeeded.
- Branching storylines: by combining the possibilities of success and failure with key moments in the game where critical decisions must be made, players will discover that some characters may even die, further expanding the range of alternative endings (another first for the franchise).
- Create-a-Class in single-player: for the first time in the Call of Duty franchise, you can choose from various weapons and equipment, with multiple options for your single-player missions. Customize your arsenal, camouflage, and perks. Additionally, thanks to the new individual stats tracking, players will be able to compare themselves with their friends, which will increase competitiveness and extend the life of the game.
Multiplayer mode features:
- New "Create-a-Class": Create-a-Class has been redesigned to offer players a new "Pick 10" allocation system, which allows for an unprecedented number of content combinations. Players no longer have to choose content from every category; instead, they trade items from one category for extra items from another; any combination of 10 items makes almost everything possible.
- Pick 10 system: ten points and an almost unlimited number of combinations: each item is worth 1 point and you can spend your 10 points however you prefer. This encourages a higher level of customization based on each person's playstyle.
- Wildcards: Wildcards are also worth 1 point each and allow players to "stretch the system" and configure their classes even further: you can choose multiple perks from one category, equip your primary weapon with 3 attachments, carry 2 lethals, etc.
- New Scorestreaks: Scorestreaks reward players for helping their team win: taking flags, defending a teammate with an assault shield, or assists are examples of actions that help the team win and will earn you points. Each action has a different value and can influence the battlefield.
