Imperium III: The Great Battles of Rome

The story takes place approximately in 70 BC, from the times when General Gaius Julius Caesar was returning from conquering Gaul and forcibly overthrowing the Roman Republic, to the death of Mark Antony and Cleopatra under the rule of Emperor Octavian. The game consists of building a city and satisfying the citizens' needs in order to make it prosper, by acquiring money, creating new buildings and monuments, and exploiting the resources available on the map. From a military standpoint, the player can create and control units of both Roman warriors and barbarian mercenaries, and fight against other barbarian tribes or human players online.
